It’s Tuesday, January 26th. We headed out from our Wisconsin office toward Denver yesterday and ran into one of the biggest snowstorms Iowa has ever seen. There must have been over 100 cars in the ditch, buried in the snow. We decided to play it safe and stopped early Des Moines.
Today is still cold, but the sun is shining, and we’re only a few hours away from our destination. We are doing a show for a client who contracted Game Show America for multiple events last year, and those shows are continuing into 2010. Each show has been a lot of fun, and everyone from our client’s company has been a blast to work with. We are looking forward to all of their events this year.
Something that we are fortunate to have at GSA is a rolling office. As we literally drive everywhere throughout the United States, we have our vehicles outfitted with everything we need to communicate with our clients: multiple phone lines, printing capabilities, and internet access. While on the road, we can send and receive emails, create diagrams, edit questions, and print documents – safely.
With four events going on this week, it’s essential that we are able to keep in contact with all of our clients. Our rolling office makes it possible.
We’ll be back in Wisconsin at the end of this week, and then we’re off to Vegas to kick off a busy February. Our event in Vegas is a multi-faceted experience for 1,200 people, and we should have some fantastic photos to post on our website and in future blogs.
From Vegas, we head to New Jersey (same client as our Denver trip), and then we’re off to Texas to close out the month. Our Texas production is an annual event for our client, and it will be our fifth consecutive year with them. For this event, GSA is providing full production (sound, lighting, video, and set). This will be the first production with our new stage set. Watch for photos in early March!
