Greetings and Salutations Everyone!
We’re almost done with July and have been on the road for most of the month with shows in Orlando, FL and Pittsburgh, PA. This weekend the GSA Crew is heading back to Orlando for another event that has something to do with Muppets.
Meanwhile, back at the GSA Magic Shop, our software development team has almost completed our first retail software project. Next step is beta testing. Looking forward to finally being able to reveal the details soon!
Game Show America also has two new game shows that are designed for corporate events, with one of them also being appropriate for casinos
Our first new game show is called FOUR.
The concept is simple – two teams compete to get four of their colored squares in a row. Teams select from seven categories. The host reads the question (or it can be displayed on large video screens). Teams race to buzz in. If a team gets the answer correct, a tile of their team’s color falls to the bottom of that question category to fill up the grid. If the answer is incorrect, the other team has a chance to answer the question and win the tile. Game play continues until one team gets four of their tiles in a row vertically, horizontally, or diagonally. The game can be played bracket-style with the winners advancing to a championship round. All of the question content is customizable.
Our second new game is called “Try Not To Laugh” – produced under license from Bald Guy Productions.
This show is designed for after dinner entertainment at your corporate event or for an evening of comedy at your casino. The first part of the show brings Bill, Murray, and Bruce to the stage, each doing 15-20 minutes of stand-up comedy. The second part of the game turns the comedy into a game show. Up to five contestants are selected to come to the stage (one at a time) to face each comic for 60 seconds. Whoever lasts the longest without laughing wins fabulous prizes (provided by your company or casino). This show has maximum entertainment value with minimum technical requirements for the show. The show is 75-90 minutes in length depending on how many contestants you would like to see on-stage. Corporate content is customizable to allow for maximum laughs throughout the show. Three legendary comedians all wrapped up into one hilarious evening of fun!

That’s all for this post. Until next time, keep on playing…
