Greetings and Salutations Everyone!
The GSA Crew just got back from our eighth consecutive year producing game shows for The Texas Rangers MLB team. Each year, the Rangers have a huge fund raising event in Dallas called “The Triple Play Game Show Spectacular.” And, with a name like that, game shows are definitely part of the evening’s entertainment. For the Rangers, it’s a chance for them to give back to the community, with donations going to the Texas Rangers Foundation which benefits children’s charities.
Guests attending the event get a chance to meet the players, bid on some amazing one-of-a-kind auction items, have a fantastic dinner, and be entertained watching the players participate in off-the-wall parodies of some of their favorite game shows.
This year’s production was absolutely huge with over 600 people in attendance. The production featured two HUGE video screens (each was 20′ x 66′), with a total of four Barco cinema projectors needed to fill the screens. This type of visual display made the game shows larger than life! A great time was had by everyone at this year’s event, and after the show, ideas were already flowing in full force for next year’s event. The day after the Rangers event, the GSA Crew was off to Tunica, Mississippi for another exciting casino promotion. The promotion features our multi-game kiosk which we showcased at the Southern Gaming Summit in Biloxi, MS. The kiosk is one of many floor promotions offered by Game Show America. The Game Show America websites are getting major transformations over the next month. Our main website, www.gsapro.com will become a portal to the different divisions of Game Show America. There are five different divisions that will be accessible when the website goes live: Game Shows, Casino Promotions, Audience Response, Scenic, and Audio/Visual.
The Game Shows tab will take clients to our www.gameshowamerica.com website which will be feature information on game shows for corporate events, conferences, meetings, and trade shows. The Casino Promotions tab will take clients to our www.gsapromo.com website which will be feature information on our interactive floor promotions, insured games, and stage shows for casinos. The Audience Response tab will take clients to our new ARS website which will feature information on our wireless audience response technology. The Scenic tab will take clients to our new Scenic website that showcases our scenic and set design. And finally, the Audio/Visual tab will take clients to our new A/V website that showcases everything related to what GSA can provide for A/V production for your events.
